Chris Hardy is the new president of the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce.
Hardy was most recently the vice president of government and public relations for the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce in Rock Hill.
During his tenure at the York County Regional Chamber, Hardy served as staff liaison to the chamber’s Marketing Advisory Committee, Government Relations Task Force and other volunteer programs. He also supervised the monthly administration of the chamber’s three area councils regarding government and public policy. Hardy is a graduate of Francis Marion University in Florence, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing.
Hardy began his work at the Clemson Chamber on Wednesday.
