PELZER A criminal investigation was opened Sunday in Pelzer when a farmer told Anderson County Sheriff's deputies that someone shot and killed one of his cows.
The shooting was reported between 7 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday in a pasture between Morris Mill and Rogers roads. The complaint was made at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The cow is valued at $2,500, according to the incident report.
Deputies report that no suspects have been identified.
