Anderson deputies investigate armed robbery

STORY TOOLS

— Anderson County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the theft of about $1,300 from a Piedmont convenience store.

The armed robbery was reported about 10 p.m. July 17 at Breakers, 2900 S.C. 153, according to the report. No one was injured. A 52-year-old woman told deputies that the man walked around the counter, pulled a pistol, demanded money and told her to get on the floor until he left, the report states. Witnesses told deputies that the robber was wearing a “fishing hat with a flower print,” Deputy T.B. Dugan said in the report.

Do you wake up in a nasty critical mode daily? Yes Pearce is a poor reporter, but that is what we have. Try telling him what to do istead of what not to do and you might find it has a more positive effect.

I thought cwilson4 was very respectful in her question. Why shouldn't she be allowed to ask a simple question without someone's backlash?

After reading the hundreds of comments you make on here with all their negative overtones I guess I snapped a bit when I saw that one. Sorry about that. Now if you go back and read all the other comments you have made over the past year, you will see the purpose of my comment.

herenow, it is a he not a she. This is not Cindy writting this stuff, she does not know how to use a computer.

Thanks for letting me know that Robert. I have never met any of the Wilsons so only have a first impression of them from what I read in the online AIM. And, yes, I agree, there have been nasty comments made from cwilson4 and mostly to do with his/her nemesis. However, the comment on this particular article was asked in a polite manner. I am just getting to know all the personalities commenting on the AIM online so, like I said, first impressions whether visual, auditory, or in print tend to paint a picture of what that person is like.

....meanwhile, there's still a thief on the loose!

Everyone is allowed to speak their mind, so why can't you two chill? We all know Pearce is not the best writer around. But, still you both have opinions and I like to read them. Let's not pick on one another for them.

Speaking of getting to know the personalities- I have read many articles and it's always the same group of people that post negative and hateful comments on nearly every blog. I wonder if they are just that unhappy or just like to look their nose down on anyone that isn't "like" them.

I have to agree with cwilson, this is a poorly written article,i think if someone stuck a gun in my face, i'd remember what color their eyes are. it funny that even the witnesses couldn't give a description other than a fishing hat with a flower print.at least they should know what his color was, what he was wearing, approximate age etc. i also just love reading all the comments on here too

My apologies cwilson4 no disrespect intended.

Not me!!! I'd probably close my eyes and start hollering "take what you want I don't see nothing, just don't hurt me"... lol. Not that it's funny but I'd be so scared with a gun in my face I wouldn't be thinking straight.

What do all of these comments have to do with the above article?? Does anyone have any additional information?? Have any other crimes taken place in the same area with the same actions of the suspect. Can we just focus a little??

Really? I may be closer than you think! lol
